In November, we reported that Eric Ruth Games was creating a Nintendo Entertainment System-style Left 4 Dead “de-make” for January. Guess what? It’s January. And the game is now available for free download for PCs.

Left 4 Dead 2 is playable on the showroom floor of Comic-Con, and people are playing it. People are then filming other people playing it, with special attention paid to the new stuff. Boy, those melee weapons look messy.
