Lots of Guild Wars 2 art here, plus this key bit from the fact sheet about ArenaNet’s upcoming PC MMO: “While Guild Wars 2 adds a persistent world, it retains the unique characteristics of the original game, including a strong narrative, extensive instanced game play, an anti-grind design philosophy, and strong support for competitive play.”

What would a major gaming show be without new screenshots from a major game by a major developer? Nothing, that’s what. Nothing.

Sega’s Aliens vs Predator is at Gamescom. Know what it reminds me of? You know when bloom lighting first came on the scene, and some games went a little overboard with it? It reminds me of that.

If only we could actually visit an island that sold itself to the world by letting you attach a truck to a helicopter, take off then use the truck as a wrecking ball to blow up a gas station.

This starts off as a developer diary. Don’t let that bother you. For starters, the clip is full of in-game action. And secondly…their Scandinavian accents are just so soothing.

It’s short, but its also the only video taste we have of what’s to come in Fable III, officially announced today by Lionhead’s Peter Molyneux.
